been so busy that I am just getting this

up. Jennifer Graduated from Pre-k. I can

believe that she will be in kindergarten.

poor child has had ear problems and surgery on
her ears, I guess the doctor made a good impression.

Jennifer turned five on the 26Th of May

She was having her party after her b-day this

year so on her real b-day we had to do something

for her. Grandma and Grandpa Vaccaro came over

after school to go out to dinner and get Ice Cream

at our favorite yogurt shop, Jennifer thinks it is real

ice cream. Grandma and Grandpa gave there present to

her that day, they gave her Mickey and Minnie and a gift

card to go toward a Disneyland Pass.

1st day of Soccer

Today was Jennifer's 1st day playing soccer.

Last year we tried putting her in dance class,

but she wanted nothing to do with it. So I

thought this year lets try soccer. I signed her

up for a beginner soccer at the Fountain Valley

Recreation Center to see if she would like it before

we spend money on real soccer.

Well I think she liked it she was running all

over the place and was very competitive.

Easter Party

So a couple days before Easter Jennifer says to

me that she needs a Easter dress and that we have to

go and get one. So the night before Easter Pete and I

took her out on a hunt for a dress that she liked and

she found one of course.

I think she did a good job getting the eggs. The

eggs had money in them so she was on the hunt

she said that she needed to get lots of tickets

that is what she calls money.

This was the first year that we had a Easter Egg

Hunt at home because we always have one at my

Aunts house but this year Jennifer told me one

day the Easter Bunny is going to leave eggs

in my back yard. After hearing that I had to

We went on a camping trip in February. I know it has taken

me forever to post but we have been so busy with

everything. Well we went camping for a long weekend and

we all enjoyed it very much.

Sorry so late, we have been so busy

family arrived at about 7am to see what Santa

had brought for everyone.

Jennifer and Austin have gone every year to get there

pictures taken since Jennifer was born, but this year

we could not get them together till 2 days before

Christmas, which turned out to be a bad idea. When

we got there santa had to leave for lunch, well after we

waited for him to leave people stayed and got in line and so did

we to make the story short we waited about 2 1/2 hours to see

Santa. But Jennifer was not going to get out of that line till

she was able to see him.

A Couple of weeks ago Peter and I had

a Party to go to and Jennifer went to her grandparents

house for the night. She gets so excited to go there that she

So I have been traveling so much in the last couple

of weeks for work. I was in Sacramento the week of my

birthday for the whole week. After a long week I flew home

on Friday evening and came home, about an hour after being

home a bunch of my friends walked through the door with food, cake,

presents, and fun drinks and they said surprise. I was surely surprised

that they would put this together for me.

It was so hard to get her to take a

picture that morning so this is the best

that we have. So far it has been a hard transition

for her to the new classroom. She loved her old teachers

and the old classroom that every morning we have a battle

to deal with. The thing that Jennifer does not realize is that

it brakes my heart to see her so sad. I told her new teacher

that I think it affects me more than her. I hope she gets through

this stage soon as I can not see her sad any longer.

Over all our trip was great. Jennifer was good

the plane. She never adjusted to the time change

but I guess it was fine as she did not have to adjust

back to our time change when we gat back.

Drunken Olympics!!

Peter, Jennifer and I went to Delaware last week to visit

friends and family. While we were there Peters friends had

there 10Th anniversary for Drunken Olympics. It was a ton of fun

watching all the guys use there athletic ability while getting drunker

and drunker as the day went on. Peter was on the white team and yes

the white team one the gold. He did get one minor injury, but other

than that he was fine he just realized that he is not in shape anymore.

In the end the day went well and we had a great time seeing

everyone and watching these men make fools of themselves.

Master Piece

We were at Grandma and Grandpa Vaccaro's

house over this last weekend and Jennifer came

down stairs with this piece of paper and said that this

was her master piece. We were all pretty impressed with

it that we asked her to show us what the master piece was

for and she went down to the piano and started singing and

playing the piano, hey someday she may be a star....

I'm a Big Kid Now... No Bubbles!!!

So the other day in the pool I asked Jennifer if she

wanted to try and swim with out her swim bubbles,

she said yes. All the other times that I asked her she

always said no, but this day it was a yes. Now she has

never had swim lessons so I was a bit skeptical of how

well she would do. So we took the bubbles off and she was

like a pro. It was like she had known all along how to swim

without the bubbles. She has no fear. Just like at Disneyland

she was no scared to keep going. The problem now is I have

to be in there with her all the time as she does not want to

wear her bubbles anymore. No more relaxing for Mommy

by the pool.

Today was clown day at school.

Every week they have a new theme

that they do in the summer. This week

is carnival week so they all dressed

We went to Disneyland with Austin, Uncle Frankie
Grandma Vaccaro, and Myself.
We told Jennifer that she was going to go to
Disneyland and she said to me about a week before
"Mommy when we go to Disneyland Mickey is
going to hold my hand and take me to the castle"
I was not sure how to answer her as I was sure that
was not going to happen, so I told her maybe honey.

I learned that Jennifer has no fears. This is us
on the Mator Horn ride. If you've been on the ride
than you know the ride is pretty jerky. She was
not scared even when we were in the dark and
went by the monster. After we went on Thunder
Mountain another fast ride, she was the same way
not scared at all, on this one she held her arms up
in the air and said woo who. She was so funny.

We had to buy her new shoes when we got there
when we found out that she was about a finger thick
from being tall enough to get on the big fast rides,
So I decided to go find shoes that would make her
tall enough. So we found sparkle shoes and they
did make her tall enough.

4th of July Family Reunion

We had a family reunion for 4th of July. We had family fly

in from New York for the whole weekend. We had allot

of fun while they were here. We went to my Cousins

house on the 4th all day. We had fire works in the evening.

Peter and I brought the motor home with us and

spent the night, Jennifer loves going in it. She calls it

the "house car".

Life is to short....

I am writing this post tonight to reflect on another blog that I came across about a week ago. I came across a blog called "Baby Cate". I began to read the blog and could not stop reading, an hour and half later I was crying and did not want to stop reading the blog as i wanted to know what this precious baby was going through. I am not a very big spiritual person but after reading this blog I began to think about how some people are strong and some are not in these types of situations. Baby Cate was 7 months old and born with a heart condition. She was the third child to her parents. They ended up having to do open heart surgery on her, the surgery was supposed to be fairly short with a very small risk factor. After a very long surgery and fighting for her life Baby Cate passed away at a very short 7 months of her little life.

The most amazing part of this blog was the strength that her parents had. The strength to share there story for others. They write the blog with such a strong spiritual belief, that things happen for a reason and that baby Cate will be better off if she goes on to another life. They write through out the whole process in extreme detail.

After reading this blog I began to think about my life, my husband, my little girl and my family. I felt that I did not have the same strength that they had. I wondered why I did not have this strength and felt that I would never be able to handle a situation like that. It made me wonder why I would not feel that my loved ones were in a better place like they thought. How they embraced the loss of there baby. I commend them for there strength and love they have for her and each other.

I wanted to share this as it made me realize to not let life pass me by, because it really is to short. To short to let other things in life bring me down or stop me from doing things in that I want in life. Sometimes I take things for granted as it will always be there, but since we never know when our last day may be we should take each day and live it to its fullest. I love my husband, my little girl and my family so much that I could not imagine life without them. I want to make a pact with myself to understand how to believe and be more spiritual. I have been very touched by this blog and will never forget how I need to live my life. I will not push aside the wants of my beautiful little girl as there may not be a tomorrow. I will enjoy every smile, laugh and need that she may have.

I would recommend reading this blog as it is so well written that I am sure it will touch you in the same way it has touched my heart. I Love you all and thanks to all that are here for me and truly understand me.

I will live by my favorite message "Live, Laugh, and Love always"

To my precious little girl, my husband, and my family I love and appreciate you more than anything in this world, thank you for being here for me when I need you the most.

Grandma and Grandpa Vaccaro bought Jennifer a new swing

set for her 4th birthday. She loves coming home and playing on

the swing set. Peter had to cut a tree down so that it could

fit. It was a huge mess, but he got it all done in time

Pete and I went to Cabo San Lucas for my dad's 60th b-day. We spent 5 days there kid free. It was so nice to get away with adults with out our little one. We stayed at a wonderful hotel right on the beach. Our view was great!!! We had a room that looked right out to the ocean. No babies from this trip we were very careful. Not like when we went to Hawaii, we came home to have Jennifer. Not this time. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures.
